Hey friends!
Today's encouraging thought is brought to you by Day 10 of 31 Days of Typography in the fonts Vezus Light and Orniste! I love the grid pattern within Orniste, but I have to be careful not to overuse it in a design because it is so ornate. My suggestion is that if you are going to include it in a graphic, use it sparingly and just where you want something to stand out! In my opinion, a design would look super busy if a bunch of words were done in Orniste, and the last thing you want to do is detract people from your message. Try pairing it with other thin, san serifs and see what you think.
